Elena

Elena Eloisa Xelemango Quiacaín. Hearing disability.

Elena was born on 18th of April 1996 in San Pablo, where she still lives with her grandmother. She’s been attending Alma de Colores since 2015, working in the sewing and handcrafts area. Her favorite work is sewing, since she likes to do baby bibs and Christmas ornaments.

Her favorite memory from Alma de Colores is when her mother allowed her to work for the project. Outside of work, she likes to help her aunt with sewing and help her mother make pizzas at her bakery.

In the future, she would like to get married, keep on working and become independent.
