Martha

She lives with her parents and three brothers. Martha has been attending Centro Maya since she was young, and has been receiving language therapy which has helped her communicate with ease. She now knows and uses Guatemalan sign language.

She has been part of the Alma de Colores workshop as a manufacturer since February 13^th, 2015. She enjoys working and producing rings and necklaces that are flower-shaped. She’s good at developing these products, applying the macramé technique.

Listening to music and dancing, specially to salsa, are among the things she likes to do the most. One of her dreams for the future is to live on the coast, since she enjoys being in contact with nature and the warmth of the beach.
