Beata Juana Mendoza Chiyal

Beata, 19, lives in San Marcos la Laguna with her parents, two brothers, two sisters and two nephews.

She’s been attending Centro Maya since November 2017. Later on, she joins Alma de Colores’ handcrafts workshop, elaborating macramé products. In 2018, she decides to move to the restaurant as the chef’s assistant. Beata is also responsible of the micro bus, in controlling the arrival and departure of the member to the center to receive therapy.

What motivates her the most about Alma de Colores is that she learns new things everyday. Her dream is to keep on studying at university.
